Apprentice Lineman

We're looking for a full-time Lineman Apprentice to join our Sequatchie County team! This position is full-time and reports to the Dunlap, TN office.

Must live in or be willing to relocate to SVEC's Sequatchie County service area.

Requirements:

- Must be willing to successfully complete the SVEC LAP Apprenticeship

- Minimum high school diploma;

- Preferred Class A Commercial Driver's License;

- Must be able to handle high-stress situations;

- Must live in the Sequatchie County service area or be willing to relocate to the service area

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires occasional travel across SVEC area, rare travel outside SVEC area. Some after-hours work is required due to occasional planned events, storm-related events, or emergency events. Occasional travel to related conferences, training, and meetings. Occasional heavy lifting up to 25 lbs. Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) is a member-owned distribution cooperative that delivers power generated by the Tennessee Valley Authority.
