Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the supervision of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Duties

•

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and solar equipment.

•

Work with low voltage and high voltage systems as directed by senior electricians.

•

Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively on construction sites.

•

Conduct tests on electrical systems using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.

•

Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.

•

Support senior electricians with frame carpentry tasks as needed during installations.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Collaborate with team members on various projects, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow within the trade.

Experience

•

Prior experience or coursework related to electrical work is preferred but not required.

•

Familiarity with construction site operations is a plus.

•

Knowledge of basic electrical principles, including low voltage and high voltage systems.

•

Experience using power tools and measuring instruments such as voltmeters and ohmmeters is advantageous.

•

A strong desire to learn about commercial and industrial electrical systems, including NEC regulations.

•

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while following instructions from experienced electricians.
