This is an Application Engineer position that is responsible for providing customer driven focus to process complex customer orders, inquiries, and concerns where a technical understanding of the components being provided is needed. The Application Engineer supports customers, maintains relationships with selected (key) clients and sales personnel. The Application Engineer works with Operations and Outside Sales personnel to support the sales processes and to contribute to customer satisfaction within the Combustion unit. The position requires ongoing communication with the team and customers to provide product information, and assistance to our strategic partners to meet bid deadlines.
The Application Engineer is responsible for customer care and acting as a liaison in problem solving and resolution with the associated teams. Each member of our team is responsible for providing call resolutions to customers and suppliers and establishing customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position includes but is not limited to technical support and front-line service requests.
· Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook· Ability to prioritize, process and manage multiple activities simultaneously.· Engineering Degree, Mechanical or Electrical or appropriate experience required· Strong written and oral communication skills· Enjoy working in a team environment· Highly motivated self-starter
