Reporting to the

, you will be part of our product development initiatives. You'll work on diverse functions from project initiation and design to validation and customer support. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering technical excellence and has a strong desire for continuous growth and learning.

You are a driven

with a passion for problem-solving. You excel at providing technical support, understanding customer needs, and translating those needs into effective solutions. With a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset, you are adept at investigating market trends and identifying opportunities for innovation. You have good communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate with sales teams, senior engineers, and customers. You possess ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and maintain a customer-centric focus.

You will be a vital link between our customers and our product development team. Your core responsibilities will include:

- Customer-Centric Technical Support: Provide strong technical support to our customers, actively listening to their challenges and communicating them to the engineering team.

- Building Ownership and Engineering Analysis: Analize technical aspects of projects from initiation to completion, including collecting reverse engineering data, reviewing specifications, and generating concept designs and models.

- Design and Validation: Contribute to the creation of detailed designs, conduct product trials, and provide performance feedback on both new and existing products.

- On-site Presence: Be prepared for significant travel (up to 75%) to various mine sites in the Edmonton or Fort McMurray, and USA locations to assist with new installations and technical support.

- Documentation and Reporting: Generate reports for site visits, create product case studies, and assist with technical presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Criteria

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD 2D and 3D modeling, NX). Experience with Teamcenter or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is highly desirable.

- Industry Experience working within a heavy manufacturing, foundry, or mining environment.

- Customer Focus: Ability to understand customer needs and provide effective, innovative solutions.

- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% to various mine sites.

- Engineering Knowledge: A strong understanding of engineering documents, specifications, and a clear grasp of manufacturing processes and techniques.

- Primarily going to be focused on supporting the Electric Rope Shovels and Hydraulic Excavators product lines, Crawler Systems, Buckets, and GET.

This role is based can be based in Edmonton or Fort McMurray (Canada)
