The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring on-time vendor payments. This position provides an excellent opportunity to broaden the candidate's knowledge of Finance. It also provides the opportunity to develop several competencies including committing to and delivering results, striving for the common good, and authentic communication.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist needs to be detail oriented and requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while working with accounting software. They must work closely with customers and internal teams to maintain financial accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role involves preparing and sending invoices, issuing payment reminders, tracking payments, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collections.

· Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently.

· Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for.

· Analyze customer accounts to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy in billing.

· Maintain up-to-date records of accounts receivable using accounting software such as Adagio.

· Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries, account status, and collection efforts.

· Collaborate with the finance team to prepare reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.

· Assist in the development of processes to improve efficiency in accounts receivable operations.
