What You’ve Accomplished

- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Biological, Physical, or Applied science

- At least 7 years of directly related experience

- Strong problem identification and resolution skills with emphasis on "root cause" analysis.

- Demonstrated strong business and/or technical expertise in a related capacity

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work with all levels of staff and management

- Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate, direct and monitor work team(s)

- Demonstrated strong interpersonal relationships

As an Analytical Laboratory Manager in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

- Managing a team of approximately 20 people ensuring personal and workplace compliance with company and regulatory agency policies

- Develop and monitor goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.

- Ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and follows Good Laboratory Practices to ensure the safe generation of high quality and reliable data.

- Support Interpretation and explanation of results to internal and external customers.

- Support lab instrument procurement and qualification activities.

- Ensure strategy in place for procurement and preventive maintenance of instrumentation to maximize instrument efficiency and lifetime.

- Support Quality Manager and department colleagues as needed to ensure goals and objectives of the group are consistently met.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $123,000 - $167,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
