Job Summary/Purpose
Delta Utilities is seeking a results-driven and analytically minded
Financial Analyst
to join our
Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
team. This role is responsible for supporting company-wide planning, forecasting, and financial performance analysis, with a focus on consolidating business unit results and providing insights that drive strategic decisions.
As part of the corporate finance team, this position will play a key role in helping senior leadership understand financial performance and outlook across the enterprise.
Accountabilities And Essential Functions•Assist with the preparation and consolidation of the monthly financial reporting package, including actuals, forecasts, and variance analyses.
•Support the annual budget and long-range planning process, including timeline management, template development, and coordination with business units.
•Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.
•Assist with the development of quarterly Board and investor materials by compiling key metrics, forecasts, and narrative insights.
•Maintain and improve financial models used for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
•Partner with accounting, operations, and business unit finance teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with corporate expectations.
•Support ad hoc analysis for executive leadership, including cash flow, profitability, headcount, and corporate overhead trends.
•Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and consistency.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field such as Math, Data Analytics or Statistics.
Minimum Experience Required Of The Position
•0–2 years of experience in corporate FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Preferred Of The Position
•Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with planning/reporting tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI) is a plus.
•Familiarity with financial statements and GAAP principles.
•Highly organized, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly to a non-financial audience.

Physical Requirements
•Able to operate a motor vehicle, including the ability to enter and exit vehicle unassisted.
•Able to perform on-site inspections.
•Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop.
•Able to sit for extended periods of time.
•Able to operate a copy machine, fax machine, calculator, telephone and other miscellaneous office equipment.
•Able to exert up to 50 Lbs. of force occasionally, and /or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push or otherwise move objects.

•May be required to remain in the service area during emergency events and assume responsibilities assigned by the company to aide in restoration efforts
