Overview
The Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Senior System Analyst provides application development support for Con Edison's AMI APP DEV systems, Meter Data Management System (MDMS), and supporting applications or modules.

Core Responsibilities
•Job title: AMI Senior System Analyst
•Location: Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. - New York, New York
•Provide application support for the business AMI systems such as the AMI Head End System, Meter Data Management System, Meter Asset Management System and supporting applications or modules.
•Maintain the technologies used to support the companys AMI systems.
•Work with users to prepare requirement analysis for implementation of new systems or enhancement of existing systems.
•Develop and maintain functional scope and technical design documentation for assigned applications.
•Work with vendors to configure and install products as well as provide support and maintain vendor packages in production, performing and testing application changes as necessary.
•Make recommendations for improving application configuration or performance.
•Prepare changes for production implementation by developing tangible implementation proposals and detailed plans.
•Design and perform unit and performance tests for supported applications.
•Write test plans and coordinate integration testing and user acceptance testing for supported applications.
•Conduct agile sprint meetings, coordinate with multiple teams and document user stories.
•Clearly articulate technical issues and connect to functional and business users as well as participate in disaster recover drills.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
•Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or related.
Relevant Work Experience
•Must have 2 years of experience writing formal documentation and requirements including Business Requirements Documents, User Stories, Testing Plans, and Technical Documents, required.
•Must have 2 years of experience applying knowledge of application design including Service Delivery Point Generator, ProField Encore, Meter Data Management System, and Meter Asset Management System as well as Software Development Life cycle principles including Agile methodology, required.
•Must have 2 years of experience implementing technology including Visual Studio (C#/VB.NET), ETL (SSIS/SSRS), Structured Query Language (SQL), and Microsoft T-SQL to support business processes and adapting business process to take advantage of technology, required.
•Must have 2 years of experience working with users to define, specify, and implement complex reports, required.
•Must have 2 years of experience applying knowledge of complex data models and design database queries to assist with data reconciliation across multiple applications to ensure accurate and timely billing of customers, required.
•Must have 2 years of experience performing and supporting business activities impacted by AMI technologies including billing and outage management, required.

•The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
