POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role focuses on leveraging advanced data analytics, system administration, and AI-driven insights to drive strategic financial decision-making and to support Beusa Energy’s continued growth. The ideal candidate will have expertise in administering OneStream and Oracle EPM, developing system reports, automating recurring financial processes, and utilizing Python and AI for financial and data analysis including the creation of impactful dashboards.
This position requires a strong analytical mind, advanced technical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly and persuasively to non-financial stakeholders. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely within Finance but also assist the Accounting, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure Beusa’s financial planning supports its operational excellence and growth initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
System Administration
•Manage and administer OneStream and Oracle EPM platforms, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and user access control.
•Make changes to the financial forecast/budget models within OneStream and Oracle EPM.
Report Development
•Design, write, and update complex system reports to provide actionable insights for finance and business stakeholders.
Data Analytics
•Perform in-depth financial and operational data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, driving business performance.
Dashboarding
•Create and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics to visualize key metrics and KPIs.
AI and Python Coding
•Develop and implement AI models and Python scripts for predictive analytics, financial modeling, and process automation.
Collaboration
•Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, IT, and leadership, to align data solutions with business objectives.
Process Improvement
•Identify and implement opportunities to streamline data processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
Compliance and Governance
•Ensure data and reporting practices comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Process Improvement and Systems Integration
•Assist with process improvements and automation of reporting and forecasting tasks.
•Support system maintenance and upgrades, including OneStream, Oracle EPM modules and Adaptive Insights integrations.
Other Duties
•Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•Successfully pass background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
•Proficiency in the spoken English language is required.
•Good general accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements.
•Strong MS Office skills with advanced Excel capabilities including Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
•Strong Data Analytics and System Administration skills including ability to provide administration of OneStream and Oracle EPM.
•Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
•Certification: OneStream Certified Professional, Oracle Fusion/EPM certifications, FPAC, or relevant data analytics certifications.
•CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred but not required.
•Experience: 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or similar roles, preferably in the Energy, Oil & Gas, or Industrial sectors.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES:
•Advanced financial modeling and forecasting expertise.
•High proficiency in Corporate/Enterprise Performance Management systems (OneStream, Oracle EPM and Adaptive Insights experience preferred).
•Proven expertise in administering OneStream and Oracle EPM platforms.
•Hands-on experience in developing financial reports and dashboards in enterprise environments.
•Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis, financial modeling, and AI/ML applications (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
•Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
•Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics).
•Familiarity with AI techniques for predictive analytics and automation.
•Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, concise executive summaries.
•Knowledge of US GAAP financial reporting principles.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
•High attention to detail combined with strategic thinking abilities.

The Senior Data Analyst works primarily indoors in an office setting, primarily sitting for extended periods of time at a desk station, keyboarding, and using repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and using a computer monitor.
Must be able to lift 25lbs independently.
Work hours may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business demands.
