Reporting to the Agricultural Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day execution of agricultural installation projects on-site, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. This role acts as the main point of contact between the field installation crew and internal teams, supporting smooth project delivery from start to finish. You’ll assist with site prep, layout, equipment readiness, scheduling, and troubleshooting during installations of gating, barn systems, feed delivery systems, and ventilation equipment.
This position requires travel and the ability to work away from home for a few days or weeks depending on the location and scope of the project.

Responsibilities
•Oversee the on-site execution of agricultural installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timeline adherence
•Coordinate daily activities of field crews and ensure they have the tools, materials, and information needed
•Serve as the on-site liaison between project management, fabrication, and installation teams
•Interpret and apply site drawings, blueprints, and layout instructions
•Assist in planning site setup and installation sequence based on project scope
•Conduct pre-job site checks and verify project readiness
•Monitor work progress and address issues or delays in real time
•Ensure accurate measurements, levels, and alignments are maintained during installation
•Support field technicians and installers with problem-solving and technical clarification
•Maintain clear, consistent communication with the Agricultural Manager and report daily progress
•Promote and enforce safety policies and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment
Requirements/Qualifications
•3+ years of experience in agricultural construction, equipment installation, or site coordination
•Strong understanding of agricultural equipment and barn systems (gating, ventilation, feed systems, etc.)
•Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and site plans
•Hands-on experience with installation tools, field measurements, and mobile equipment
•Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
•Ability to assess priorities and adapt quickly to changing project conditions
•Physically capable of performing site work, including lifting 50 lbs., working at heights, and navigating uneven terrain
•Willingness to travel and work away from home for short durations as needed
•Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 an asset)
•Safety certifications (e.g., Fall Protection, First Aid, WHMIS) are an asset or must be obtained upon hiring
