This position is responsible for handling high-volume customer calls and efficiently scheduling deliveries of aggregate rock products. The role is essential in optimizing daily trucking logistics, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting production goals by capturing orders accurately, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining up-to-date system records.
- Maintain consistent, dependable attendance at the designated worksite.
- Accurately input and schedule aggregate orders via phone and electronic systems.
- Coordinate the daily dispatch of trucks to ensure optimal fleet utilization and meet delivery deadlines.
- Utilize Concrete Go/Apex or other logistics software to manage orders and fleet activity.
- Prepare daily work schedules and proactively adjust dispatch based on customer demand.
- Provide timely and accurate information in response to customer inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve service or delivery issues, escalating as needed for resolution.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service or promote additional products.
- Maintain database integrity by accurately entering customer and order data.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with systems and procedures.
- Support company goals by taking initiative on process improvements.
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

- Ability to read, write and figure mathematical calculations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a concrete dispatcher or order taker required.
- Experience using Concrete Go/Apex software preferred.
- Lift, push or pull objects of various dimensions up to 30 lbs. of weight frequently.
- Ability to perform 80% sedentary work and tolerate prolonged standing/sitting/walking.
- Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
- Ability to verbally communicate, hear, and specific vision abilities including close vision, distant vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
