CNC Multi-Axis 3x, 4x, 5x Machinists
Seeking to hire at all levels!
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
LEVEL 1 (1-2 years’ Experience)
•Retrieve CNC programs and load to the machine and Setup, load, and operate CNC machines to produce parts per prints.
•Edit in G-code and manually program using Mazatrol Control or FANUC
•Setup fixturing and own set ups on machine.
•Perform first piece and in-process quality inspections and Setup cutters in holders and adjust height and length.
•Ability Read drawings/prints to identify operations, specification, and tolerances.
•Meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements and use measuring devices like micrometers, height gauges, and calipers to ensure specifications are met.
•Perform operator maintenance tasks like oiling, greasing, and cleaning the machine (5S).
LEVEL 2 (3-5 years’ Experience)
•Complete perquisites of Level 1.
•Perform First Part and In-Process part quality check and review of production work orders (Travelers) and associated documents to complete work.
LEVEL 3 (5+ Years’ Experience)
•Perform CNC Warmup Procedures and Basic Preventative Machine Maintenance.
•Devise plans, Programs and Setups for Part Manufacturing.
•Perform Prototype Setups, Make Fixtures.
•Calculate Dimensions and Tolerances using Geometry and Trig.
•G-Code knowledge and Machine Programs.
•Tight Tolerance holding and perform Tapping, Counter Bores, Countersink and Reaming Holes, Some Deburring and Prep for Inspections.
•Understand Part Manufacturability.
•Understand thermal expansion and its effects.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
•GED/High School Diploma.
•Skilled user of aerospace job shop ERP system.
•Competent interpreting prints and flow down requirements for level 1; expert levels 2&3.

As an Aerospace CNC Multi-Axis 3x, 4x, 5x Machinists, you will be integral to the precision manufacturing of aerospace components. Your core skills in machining, mechanical knowledge, and precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers will be essential. Additionally, your familiarity with CNC programming and basic math will enhance your ability to meet production goals efficiently.
