We are currently offering a $1000.00 Sign On Bonus! Position Title: Aerial Lineman - Telecom

The Aerial Lineman is responsible for maintaining and building overhead and underground infrastructure with fiber optic and copper cable.

- Experienced in the following tasks: New Cable Installs, Pole Transfers, Strand Building, Cable Hanging, Lashing Over, Wreck Out, and Make Readies

- Install and repair lines in a variety of environments

- Ability to climb wooded utility poles and perform line work off hooks

- Experienced in Bucket Truck Operation

- Perform manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions

- Analyze job locations for utility lines, permitting, and traffic control in order to complete construction activities without quality defects, safety incidents or any type of property damage

- Complete daily inspections and reporting of maintenance issues on vehicles, trailers and equipment

- Maintains a professional working attitude with co-workers and customers

- Produces quality work that upholds industry standards

Success Factors

- 3-5 years of Fiber Optic and Copper Cable industry construction, maintenance and testing experience

- Should provide own climbing equipment and basic hand tools

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, grasp, push, pull and reach on a frequent basis throughout the day. Must be able to lift-up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis

- Time management skills

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience And Education

- High school diploma or equivalent desired

- 3-5 years of Fiber Optic and Copper Cable industry construction, maintenance and testing experience

- Driver License Required; CDL Preferred

- Experience working with underground utilities desired

- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications

- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.

- Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
