Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lineperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including both industrial and commercial experience. This role involves working on various tasks related to electrical systems, utility locating, and construction site operations. The Lineperson will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical installations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Perform rigging and bucket operation tasks safely and efficiently.

- Conduct high voltage and low voltage electrical installations and repairs.

- Utilize welding skills for necessary repairs and modifications.

- Read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.

- Engage in field service activities, including troubleshooting electrical issues.

- Operate bucket trucks for overhead work, including tree trimming as needed.

- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure project completion.

- Conduct utility locating to prevent damage during excavation activities.

- Maintain compliance with NEC standards and safety regulations.

Skills

- Proficient in rigging techniques and safety practices.

- Experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician is preferred.

- Strong understanding of high voltage systems and low voltage applications.

- Familiarity with cabling practices and IT infrastructure setups.

- Ability to operate bucket trucks safely for aerial work.

- Competence in climbing for utility pole access when necessary.

- Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, including ohmmeters.

- Previous experience on construction sites is advantageous.

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
