The Engineer provides engineering support in all phases of maintenance, operations, design and modifications of the distribution control office, SCADA and Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS).

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution required. Electrical and/or Computer Engineering preferred. Computer operating experience in Windows, Linux or similar operating systems preferred. Experience with energy management computer systems or SCADA computer systems preferred. An understanding of electrical power systems and devices as well as an understanding of control systems in the context of electrical engineering are both preferred. Ability to develop software in C, C#, and SQL preferred.

Demonstrated skill in software maintenance and development required. Must have demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities while consistently creating quality work products. An independent use of judgment and the ability to work through ambiguity and change is critical.

Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

$69,300.00 - $168,000.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
