JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Intern plays a key role in supporting the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of customer billing processes. This position is responsible for generating, reviewing, and submitting invoices in accordance with customer agreements and internal policies, while supporting billing-related inquiries and coordinating with operations and field staff as needed.

•Accurately prepare, generate, and submit customer invoices in accordance with utility and service contracts.
•Enter billing data into customer-specific platforms and internal systems, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations.
•Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues in collaboration with internal departments and customers.
•Respond to customer billing inquiries and requests with professionalism and timely follow-up.
•Collaborate with field teams to collect and verify billing data as needed.
•Participate in process improvement and automation projects as needed.
•Learn the technology of the assigned department(s).
•Network with various teams within the company.
•Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership.
•Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures.
•Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Junior or Senior-level college student in good academic standing, or recent college graduate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
•Career interest in the assigned department(s), or in the environmental services or vegetation management industries.
•Ability to work with a team of cross-functional experts in multiple locations.
•A collaborative, motivated attitude.
•Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products utilizing the latest operating system.
•Demonstrate excellent customer service focusing on rapport-building, listening, questioning and patience. Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical.
•Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
•Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.
