Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Summer Interns to join our team across various departments. This internship is open to recent graduates and current students enrolled in 2- or 4-year college programs. It's designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world projects that support the operations and growth of Triple-S Steel. As an intern, you will collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to team objectives, and gain valuable insight into our industry. Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, monthly closings, and preparation of financial statements

•

Perform general ledger account reconciliations

•

Support Fixed Assets and Construction-in-Progress (CIP) reviews, including tracking and reconciliation

•

Help document Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for month-end close procedures

•

Reconcile bank statements and assist with account tie-outs

•

Provide support on ad hoc tasks and special projects

Qualifications:

•

Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

•

Completion of higher-level accounting or finance coursework prior to the internship

•

Strong Excel skills, with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word

•

Strong organizational skills with the ability to accurately track and manage data

•

Capable of resolving variances, troubleshooting issues, and navigating complex accounting scenarios
