Intern - Finance

I. JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Financial Analyst Intern will report to the Director of Corporate Financial Analysis and Treasury and will be exposed to, and assist with, various finance analysis and accounting matters for the G2X Group. The Financial Analyst Intern will work directly and support the FP&A team. He/she will be expose and in contact to other groups within and outside Finance. The role will provide an immersive experience in real day to day finance matters alongside junior and senior members of the team.

II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Participate in gathering and discussing input assumptions for the Monthly Financial Forecast.

b. Prepare and properly document the Forecast Sheet summary per companies.

c. Assist in the preparation of Management and Business Unit Reports.

d. Assist in the preparation of Board and Management presentations.

e. Review key contracts and prepare standard calculation of selected Variable Cost elements.

f. Support in the preparation and explanation of the variance analysis of budget vs actuals as well as the waterfall charts.

g. Perform other related duties and assignments, as delegated.

III. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

a. High School diploma and at least two years of undergraduate studies in a related field.

b. Analytical and MS Excel skills.

c. Strong oral and written communications skills and attention to detail.

d. Ability to work well in a team environment (on-site and virtual).
