Lake Limerick Country Club (LLCC) is a private community nestled in Mason County, Washington. As part of a small but mighty administrative team, the Staff Accountant will apply their accounting background to continuously improve systems, reporting, and processes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an adaptable team that’s committed to supporting our membership. Successful candidates have 5 years of hands-on Accounting experience or a combination of experience and education. Experience with QuickBooks is helpful but not required.
b. Prepare and maintain financial reports (monthly, annually and ad-hoc)
c. Collaborate with administrative team to identify and resolve operational challenges.
b. Oversee financial management and reporting for various departments
c. Ensure timely processing of invoices and monthly reconciliations
d. Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
a. Partner with Department Leaders, Board of Directors and General Manager to identify cost-saving opportunities
b. Work with external vendors to anticipate and navigate Community needs
a. Work with the General Manager to improve processes and management methods to generate above budgeted net income
· Experience with Quickbooks or other Accounting software services
· Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
· Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
· Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization as well as working with the LLCC Board of Directors, committee members and members of the community.
· Requires a self-motivated team player who pays close attention to detail and who can prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
· Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
We are committed to offering competitive compensation for all our positions at Lake Limerick Country Club. The hiring range for this position is generally between $70,000 to $80,000 per year, exclusive of fringe benefits. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience.
