Accountant - Manufacturing (Bilingual: Chinese and English)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our manufacturing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial records, cost accounting, and ensuring compliance with standard accounting principles and company policies. This role plays a key part in supporting financial planning and operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cost Accounting: Track, analyze, and report on manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation.

- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and timely entries in the general ledger and reconcile accounts monthly.

- Inventory Accounting: Oversee physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and monitor inventory movements.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

- Accounts Payable/Receivable Support: Assist with AP/AR processes as needed, ensuring proper coding and timely processing.

- Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant tax and accounting regulations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to align financial insights with business goals.

- Audit Support: Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)

- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management

- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Excel

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

- Experience with standard costing and manufacturing KPIs

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices

Bilingual (Mandarin) Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
