We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team. The Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting senior staff in managing day-to-day accounting and finance functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about accounting and looking to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- General Accounting: Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end accounting tasks. Preparing journal entries, reconciliations and working papers for financial review of senior management.

- General Accounting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely payment and collection of accounts.

- Reconciliation: Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.

- Data Entry: Accurately input financial transactions into SAP and ensure data integrity.

- Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

- Expense Management: Monitor and report on company expenses, preparing expense reports as needed.

- Tax Compliance: Assist with tax-related tasks, including filing and supporting audits when required.

- Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data.

- Document Management: Maintain and organize financial documents and records in accordance with company policies.

- Other ad hoc tasks may include working closely and in support with other accounting and finance teams to support them in day to day finance and accounting tasks.

Requirements:

- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting is required. CPA or any other accounting and finance qualification is an asset.

- Experience: 3-7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
