Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive
to join our team, focusing on business development within the
landscape construction industry
. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities with general contractors. Your ability to understand construction project needs, build lasting relationships, and present tailored landscaping solutions will be essential to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
•Proactively develop and maintain relationships with general contractors and construction professionals in the region.
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities, creating and managing a strong sales pipeline.
•Present and propose landscape construction services that align with project timelines, budgets, and contractor requirements.
•Collaborate closely with internal teams, including estimators, project managers, and operations staff, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
•Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and account progress using CRM tools.
•Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase visibility and build strategic connections.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the landscaping, construction, or related industries.
•Solid understanding of landscape construction services, including site prep, hardscape, irrigation, and planting.
•Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
•Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
•Highly self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for site visits and meetings.
Compensation & Benefits:
$70,000 - $85,000 *DOE
