We have an immediate opening for a highly-skilled A Level Pressure Welder with an Active Supervisor Roll.

In this position, you will work on in-house projects as well as travel to client locations to perform job duties on site. Your daily responsibilities will include working hands on with clients and customers, directing work fronts including organizing, planning and seeing through the final execution of the job scope. At times Welder duties will consist of laying out metal components, cutting, fabricating, and welding those pieces together to create pipe assemblies and other related structural metal components. We expect our welders to complete each job within specific deadlines following all Health and Safety rules and regulations. Our ideal candidate has at least two year of welding experience and a working knowledge of standard welding tools and techniques.

Welder Duties and Responsibilities

· Interpret drawings and plans to understand project scope and specifications

· Produce templates and other work aids

· Utilize industry tools and equipment, including power tools, iron-worker punch & shears, portable grinders, hand files, and scrapers

· Capable of welding in all positions. SMAW and GTAW

· Conduct tests to check weld quality, including hydrostatic

· Maintain proper equipment; repair when needed

Welder Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 2+ years of professional welding experience preferred

· A Level with TSBC or Equivalent Welding Certification

· CWB Certification for SMAW & FCAW

· Working knowledge of industry tool and equipment

· Ability to follow all Safety and Health procedures

· Ability to read blueprints

· Proficient in basic math

· Clean drivers abstract

· Knowledge of Word and Excell Format
