Assist in developing guidelines to implement and maintain an effective 5S program to promote the visual factory.

Follow established guidelines to implement and maintain a 5S program to promote the visual factory.

Plans and organizes 5S training activities.

Plans and performs audit activities to ensure the 5S program is operating effectively, summarizes the results, provides immediate feedback to production team members and follows up on corrective actions.

Reports to management on the performance of the 5S program including audit results.

Identifies potential improvements to work areas and assists in implementing solutions.

Using the PC, Microsoft Office software, digital camera and associated software, develops charts, display boards, reports and other appropriate means of communicating 5S standards, activities and program effectiveness.

Uses appropriate interpersonal skills and methods to guide meetings toward objectives. Actively participates in and facilitates team effectiveness, contributing ideas and suggestions while taking actions that demonstrate consideration for the feelings and needs of others.

Coordinate activities between Machining, Assembly and the Warehouse to ensure consistent 5S standards between areas.

Maintains file of 5S related materials and provides copies of 5S materials, audits, and reports as appropriate.

Flex schedule required one day per week to cover off shifts.

Ensures good safety practices are maintained.

Follow all regulations (company, state, federal, etc.).

Provide assistance to team members as required.

Provide clerical support as assigned.
