Job Title:Facilities Maintenance Technician

Summary:This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment as well as repairs to the facility and grounds. Job aspects and duties include but not limited to:

- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.

- Performing Preventative Maintenance as needed.

- Handling basic repairs and maintenance to the facility.

- Repairing machines, equipment, and facility as necessary.

- Support Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives by following established procedures, participating in safety training, and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.

- May be exposed to minor risk of electrical shock in the repair of electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.

Maintenance Worker Requirements:

- Proven maintenance experience

- High school diploma/GED or related degree from technical school.

- Skilled use of hand and power tools, hoists, lifts.

- Ability to take apart machines, equipment devices and replace defective parts.

- Experience with reading schematics, blueprints, instructions as needed.

- Experience performing routine maintenance.

- Strong communication skills and an eye for detail.

- Professional presentation and attitude.

- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.

- Ability to lift 50lbs and climb to a height of 50 feet.

Recommended Education and/or Experience:

Minimum three to five years related machine repair and maintenance experience.
