3D Modeler/Drafter

Qualifications:

-Portfolio showcasing proficiency in NURBS

-Ability to draft 2D layouts from 3D models for use in construction drawings, and annotated diagrams

-General ability to render mock-ups for internal use and client approval

-Technical knowledge of material assembly

-Strategic thinking and strong eye for design and details

-Be able to work collaboratively at a fast pace, under the direction of the Design Lead and Project Managers

-Always willing to learn and share knowledge

Responsibilities:

-Translate design concepts into workable 3D models (using existing assets, or often from scratch)

– Prep files for CNC Department & 3D Printing Department to process

– Draft construction drawings and detailed sections for Carpentry & Metal Department

– Create annotated callout sheets and installation guides for Scenic Department and Install Teams

-Prep drawings for distribution to shop floor

-Track progress of production and update in work management platform

-Site Survey & site drawings

Requirements:

-Proficient in Rhinoceros 3D modeling software (intermediate users encouraged to apply) (Minimum 2 years experience or 5 years of equivalent software experience)

-Preferably knows Windows operating system

-One year experience in Fabrication or similar industry
