Job Objective
Supervises all measurement operations maintenance of measurement equipment, and spare part inventory; monitors and maintains meter records, verification and sampling schedule of all meters; and supervises measurement specialists and contract employees.
Essential Job Responsibilities
•Supervises daily measurement operations
•Reviews, monitors, and maintains measurement documentation.
•Monitors and maintains spare parts inventory.
•Provide knowledge and solutions to accurately perform field measurement and volume reporting.
•Supervises meter install and upgrades to meet industry standards/regulations.
•Processes field invoices.
•Supervises measurement specialists and contract employees.
•Provide production accounting group with accurate volumes for allocations.
•Monitors/maintains measurement equipment and initiates solutions to problems.
•Represent the company’s best interest when dealing with local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
•Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned staff; and reviews progress and directs changes as needed.
•Performs employee goal setting and annual reviews
•Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long-range operations studies, reports, and recommendations.
•Aid in the supervision and prioritize daily task for field wide measurement tasks
•Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
•Supports company vision and mission.
•Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
•Be ready and willing to assist team directly with work tasks to ensure timely completion
Other Job Responsibilities
•Supervises personnel and conducts employee performance evaluations.
•Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
•Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
•Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
•Five (5) years minimum experience in oil and gas measurement/instrumentation.
•3 years+ in a formal leadership role or demonstrated leadership experience
•Ability to work established work schedule.
•Mastery of trouble shooting volume discrepancies
•Ability to accurately solve problems.
•Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned field territory.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other
•departments, officials, and the public.
•Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
•Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
•Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to developing workforce.
•Good management, administrative, and organizational skills.
•Proficiency in the use and application of the following computer software:
•Preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook); Quorum
Education Requirements
•Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
