This position is responsible for developing and maintaining technical records for the Asset Management Technology organization. This includes coordinating with Engineering, Projects, and Operations personnel to ensure consistent asset management processes are applied for transmission lines and substation asset information across the three-state region.
Technical Knowledge/Skills:* + Strong facilitation and communication skills (including written, oral, and public speaking) required. + High degree of personal ownership and accountability. + Strong background in process improvement. + Ability to create/manage Microsoft Access Databases, Microsoft Excel databases and associated user interfaces (visual basic, SQL or similar programming ability) is highly desirable.
Working towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering is required. An electrical engineering major is preferred.
Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
