In this role, you will:

•

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

•

Project Management: Opportunity to assist in coordination of maintenance projects in a processing plant. Water Treatment facility or in mobile maintenance; responsible for organizing, scheduling and monitoring the status of maintenance projects

•

Monitor project budgets and identify inefficiencies and offer cost effective solutions

•

Collaborate with engineering team to produce detailed designs for mechanical projects on site such as upgrades to equipment or building facilities

•

Support Reliability Maintenance initiatives including Failure and Root Cause Analysis

•

Coordinate the plan and schedule for maintenance shutdown work

•

Supporting operations and work with skilled trades to troubleshoot equipment failure and develop repair scopes of work

•

Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business

Requirements:

•

Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering

•

A valid Class 5 Driver's License or extra-provincial equivalent, without learner's restrictions

•

Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical and operational personnel

•

Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously

•

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and a solid understanding of AutoCAD and Solidworks would be advantageous

Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
