Yard/Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Builders Fence Company, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of ornamental iron and a wholesale distributor of chain link fencing. We have an immediate employment opportunity for an experienced Yard/Warehouse Associate.

In this position, you will perform a wide variety of functions, including, but not limited to:

- Pulling and preparing accurate orders for customers

- Safely and skillfully operate a forklift to load/unload trucks

- Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner

- Work inside the warehouse and/or outside in the yard, depending on need

- Accurately complete work orders and receiving documents

- Pull and prepare orders, packing for shipment

- Safely operate forklift to rotate and move various yard stock materials

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Working with team, providing excellent customer service to ensure branch success

Job Requirements:

- Must have 1 year or more work experience in a yard/warehouse position (prior experience working with building material is a plus)

- Forklift experience required

- Must be able to read, write and perform basic math functions

- Must be able to work overtime as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
