How You’ll Make an Impact

- Complete pre-inspection (and post-inspection where required) of equipment such as fork truck and yard tractor to ensure safe operating condition

- Proper operation of forklift and yard tractor; safely using horns, backup alarms and safety strobe lights

- Use yard tractor to move trailers from dock-to-dock as needed

- Move component trailers to production lines

- Move empty trailers to dock C & A,B for loading (communicate status)

- Load/unload shuttle trailers

- Stage loaded trailers for transfer as required

- Stage empty supplier trailers appropriately for pick-up

- Communicate with production lines, warehouse, truck drivers, team leaders, and supervisors to ensure correct trailers are staged in appropriate dock doors or locations

- Performing material handler duties in time between trailer movements

- Utilizing RF Scanner to scan materials and movements into SAP

- Load Recycling Trailers

- Checking in third-party drivers

- Packaging, preparing, and shipping daily common carrier shipments

- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.

- Operate equipment safely

- May also be asked to assist with other plant duties outside of the scope of the daily job responsibilities

What You’ll Need

- Must have Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements

- Communicate with warehouses, truck drivers, team leaders, and supervisors to ensure correct trailers are taken to the correct locations.

- Performing material handler duties in time between trailer movements.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Utilizing RF Scanner to scan materials and movements into SAP.
