WV - Title Abstractors

Shenandoah Energy Partners is seeking Title Examiners/Abstractors for local work in the Bridgeport/Morgantown area of WV, remote or hybrid work. The position will work to identify Oil and Gas Mineral Owners, Leasehold owners, Working interest owners, ORRI owners in HBP units and in multiple formations to facilitate the acquisition of assets. Candidates must have West Virginia Title experience and possess excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications:

· Experience running title in West Virginia (required).

· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

· Familiarity with various title and oil and gas related documents

· Familiarity with various mineral interests and their effect on title

Responsibilities:

· Chain mineral, surface, and working interest title back to inception.

· Create accurate ownership reports in Microsoft Excel.

· Update Title Opinions and Ownership reports in to client's ownership form

· Meet aggressive deadlines and deliver a high-quality work product.

· Communicate issues involving title, interpretation and contractual disputes to team lead and potentially assist in resolutions.
