Job Summary

We are seeking a Working Sitework Excavation and Pipe Layer Foreman to lead excavation and utilities crews and manage daily operations related to earthwork and trenching for commercial civil projects.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

•

Willing to travel out of town, through out Texas.

•

Supervise and coordinate crews and operate heavy equipment. Like dozers, loaders, motor grader, rollers, water truck, and excavators.

•

Ensure work meets specifications, safety standards, and schedule goals.

•

Interpret construction drawings and ensure proper excavation depths and layouts.

•

Be able to set grades, cut and fill site. Moisture conditioning of subgrade and pass compaction.

•

Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and inspectors.

•

Document daily activities, monitor productivity, and report progress.

•

Conduct safety briefings and enforce site safety compliance.

•

Responsible for assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.

•

Ensures ground is prepped and trenches are dug out for pipes.

•

Installs concrete, clay, steel, ductile iron, plastic, corrugated pipe and any other type of pipe for storm drainage, water lines, gas lines and sanitary sewer lines.

Qualifications:

•

Minimum 5 years of commercial civil excavation experience.

•

At least 2 years of leadership experience as a foreman or supervisor.

•

Strong understanding of excavation methods, OSHA trenching regulations, and utility safety.

•

Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and project specifications.

Requirements:

•

Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather and terrain.

•

Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and nights as needed.

•

Must pass drug/alcohol screening, medical evaluation, and background check.
