Under direct supervision assist with the planning and scheduling maintenance of fixed assets in support of section and personnel. Assist with the creation, maintenance, and planning of the asset registry and preventive maintenance systems in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
This position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities over other employees.
- Use CMMS to plan and schedule activities related to maintaining and extending the life of the physical plant assets and infrastructure for each respective section.
- Assist supporting sections by using CMMS to gather and input data as needed.
- Research practices and procedures according to accepted industry standards for all maintenance trades.
- Maintain a technical manual library of documented practices and procedures.
- Assist foreman with the inventory of spare and ordered repair/installation parts available.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely supply of non-stocked inventory items.
- Perform site visits to determine need for work. Follow up on previous work completed and verify assets/locations for Maximo registry.
- May be required to perform on call duty, work shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as directed, and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

The following disciplines fall under this job description:
- Water Distribution:
Provides a variety of administrative and field functions related to work planning and scheduling including, but not limited to:
- Data entry and work order management in Maximo. This may include specialized work associated with landscape and roadway restoration including site visits, contractor coordination and quality control.
- Assembly and distribution of Daily Lineup and On-Call lists.
- Coordination of maintenance and capital project outage planning, construction, commissioning, startup and training with WD Operations. As required, attendance at project coordination meetings.
- Procurement of traffic plans and permits, Coordination of work with right-of-way inspectors.
- Project scheduling of WD maintenance crews.
- Coordination and recordkeeping related to lead service line replacement activities. This may include initial customer contact and notification, pre-construction inspection and job planning, customer coordination, and customer consent forms.
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints.
Hybrid-This position offers a hybrid schedule working a minimum of two days in the office in the Denver Metro Area
$22.56-$25.57/hr.
$19.89-$30.25/hr.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Any equivalent combination of certifications, education, or experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities for the position.
- Must be able to possess and maintain a valid Class 'R' Colorado driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.
