Woodland Structural Steel Estimator Level 4

The sales offices of Gerlinger Steel are open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm and the week is typically scheduled for 40 hours. Your day will include cultivating customer relationships including new products or services. This process will include the sale of metals, hardware, or machinery products and processing services primarily over phone or email. Additionally you will be communicating and coordinating between warehouse and processing departments to provide clarifications and status updates.

- Attendance, Shift Punctuality

- Clear and professional communication via all mediums (i.e. phone, email, messaging) in the English language, Bilingual preferred

- Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, discounts, percentages, and able to convert fractions to decimals and decimals into fractions

- Conversant in computer operations, spreadsheet, and word processing programs. Ability to learn and use all other software and computing products assigned. 35wpm minimum typing speed.

- High level of customer service and interpersonal skills which includes establishing and maintaining rapport with customers and generates interest in offerings

- Construction or fabrication background preferred

- Experience reviewing drawings and plans preferred
