Job Title: Service Technician

Position Summary:
The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing post-installation issues with windows and doors sold and installed by Window World of Albuquerque Inc. This includes warranty work, product adjustments, and customer service follow-ups. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform service and warranty repairs on vinyl windows, patio doors, entry doors, and storm doors
•Diagnose issues related to hardware, operation, sealing, caulking, and installation finish
•Replace glass, screens, weatherstripping, and other components as needed
•Communicate with the service coordinator to review scheduled service appointments
•Contact customers to confirm appointment windows and explain next steps
•Document all completed work, including before-and-after photos, and update job status in CRM
•Maintain a clean and professional work area inside customer homes
•Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are stocked and well-maintained
•Drive to job sites using a company-provided vehicle and follow all safety protocols
•Provide courteous and professional communication with homeowners
•Alert the Operations Manager if a job requires escalation or cannot be completed as scheduled
Qualifications:
•2+ years of experience in window and/or door installation or service work preferred
•General carpentry or construction experience required
•Familiarity with hand and power tools
•Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding
•Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
•Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
•Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices to update job information
Schedule & Compensation:
•Full-time, Monday through Friday (some Saturdays may be required)
•Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
