Role Overall Purpose
Reporting to the assigned project Team Lead during project delivery, perform repair of damaged blades in conformance with applicable internal and customer processes and procedures. Ensure repairs are completed efficiently, professionally and without rework. For career development, training and all other needs outside of project delivery, this position reports to the assigned Supervisor.
Core Responsibilities
Project Planning
•Review and understand work-scope and work instructions and provide feedback.
•Active/constructive engagement at the internal project kick-off meeting, and applicable customer kick-off meetings.
•Communicate needs / concerns to Team Lead.
•Mobilize in accordance with ROBUR and project requirements.
•Assist with organization of tools, materials and PPE (if needed).
•Arrive at accommodation and be fit for duty Project Execution.
•Consistently timely arrival onsite and be fit for duty.
•Actively participate in site kick-off and orientation.
•Actively participates in JSA and other planning activities.
•Submits weekly HSE observation and provides internal feedback when opportunities for improvement are recognized.
•Actively support the safety of other Team members Understands assigned daily activities and executes according to Company and Customer standards and procedures.
•Takes direction without insubordination but respectfully challenges when there is uncertainty. Supports repairs, grinding, chemical mixing, laminating, vacuum bagging and other repair functions as directed.
•Participates in photo taking and storage.
•Follows HSEQ protocols, procedures, and guidance.
•Maintains a tidy, organized workspace and company vehicle.
•Demonstrate care and responsibility in the custody of Company and Customer equipment. Performs clean up pre, during and post work.
•Daily input in Clockify.
•Continued professionalism on and off site.
Post Project
•Ensure all company tools, consumables and materials are returned.
•Demobilize in accordance with ROBUR requirements.
•Provide feedback to Robur management.
Education, Key Requirements, and Experience
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
•1+ years' experience in up tower blade repair OR 2+ years' experience factory blade repair
•Proficient with the use of PPE and hand tools
•Exposure to different access methods (working at height, confined space)
•Physically fit / able to climb towers multiple times per day without assistance
•Hard working and willing to learn
