### **O&M Wind Technician**

  

### **Location:** **Texas**

### **Reports to:** **O&M Supervisor**

  

### **Job Summary:**

  

Independently perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines while ensuring uptime and compliance with health and safety standards.

  

### **Key Responsibilities:**

  

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to turbines' mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Conduct detailed inspections, torqueing, lubrication, and blade repair.
* Support root cause analysis and performance optimization initiatives.
* Maintain accurate service records in CMMS systems.
* Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.

  

### **Qualifications:**

  

* Associate degree or technical certification in wind energy, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
* 2–5 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance.
* Familiarity with SCADA systems and OEM platforms (e.g., GE, Vestas, Siemens).
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.
