Responsible for tack-up and finish weld of various weldments and components. They must be able to tack up and weld to exact tolerances and to finish product with grinders and sanders. This position will be using ten – thirty ton crane in a safe manner.
- GMAW (MIG) welding on mild steel and stainless
- Square up and weld various components
- Able to assemble components to fixtures and weld
- Additional items as assigned by manager
This position interacts with other trades in and outside of their area including welders, Quality Control, plumbers, Project Managers and Engineering.
