We are looking for a Weld Fabricator that can help us excel in quality, productivity, and value. If this sounds like you, please keep reading!
· Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel and other alloys.
· Use of straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
· Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
· Utilize required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
· Monitor the fitting, equipment and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
· Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and welding operations.
· Record product inspection sheet and job packets.
· Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.
· Grinding/Metal Finishing of excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or, portable grinders. To make parts paint ready.
· Verify quality of finished work and place work pieces in containers or skids. Make move tag with each job with correct quantity.
· Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas using hand jack.
· Clean production equipment after use daily and clean floor daily.
· Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
· Other duties as directed by supervisor and or Lead.
· Preferable to be able to TIG weld on Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum in a production environment.
· Must be able to MIG Weld Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum. Able to read and understand blueprints.
· Pass a hands-on weld test and a written general knowledge test.
· Must have good dexterity and the ability to communicate with coworkers.
· Candidate must be able to work in other areas of the shop as needed.
· Work overtime when approved and scheduled by your manager.
· 1 year minimum of experience in a manufacturing environment
· National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certificate preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Starting wage is based on experience and weld test)
