JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are considered essential for this job classification:
1. Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed
2. Advises swimmers of improper activities or dangers and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies
3. Responds to emergency situations and administers first-aid when necessary
5. Maintain focus at a high level for extended periods of time.
6. Evaluates conditions for safety and activates emergency action plan if necessary.
8. Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.
9. Assists with pool chemical tests and records results accordingly.
10. Assist with setup, tear-down and the operation of special events and functions.
12. Ability to critically assess situations, solve problems, and work independently with minimal supervision.
15. Other duties as assigned as duties and responsibilities may be changed, expanded, reduced, or deleted to meet business needs of the company.

4. Candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have a willingness to interact with the public.
7. Swimming proficiency and feels comfortable in the water.
8. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
9. Subject to work outside with extended periods in outside conditions, will be exposed to sun, heat & humidity, cold, and rain.
