Military Highway Water Supply Corporation is dedicated to providing reliable water supply and wastewater treatment services to our community.
We are currently seeking three (3) qualified Water Plant Operators to join our team and help manage the daily operations of our multiple water treatment facilities. These positions are critical to ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant water service to our customers.
Minimum Requirements:
•TCEQ Class "C" Water Operator License or higher (required)
•High School Diploma or GED (required)
•Valid Texas Driver’s License (required)
•Minimum 2 years of experience operating Reverse Osmosis membrane filtration systems
•Operational knowledge of SCADA systems
Key Responsibilities:
•Operate, monitor, and maintain Reverse Osmosis Membrane Filtration plants
•Operate chemical injection systems (chlorine, other acids and reagents) in strict adherence to OSHA rules
•Inspect and test equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper function
•Work as team to troubleshoot and resolve operational or mechanical issues
•Ensure plant operations are in full compliance with TCEQ regulations
•Perform regular system checks, water quality monitoring, lab sampling and equipment inspections
•Maintain accurate operational logs and records
•Continue education of RO systems including attending yearly membrane workshop training
•The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday; however, candidates must be flexible and available to work occasionally on weekends, as well as be able to respond to emergencies with 24-hour on-call availability.
•May work in extreme outside weather conditions when necessary. The noise level is generally loud in this environment and there may be vibrations. May lift, move, or carry up to 50 lbs
