Back 2 Basics Reconstruction is a growing company in the central Florida market. We specialize in helping home owners and businesses recover from water related issues quickly and effectively. We are committed to quality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. We are NOT an on call or emergency after hours response company. However, flexibility in your schedule will be required to complete your daily scheduled jobs and tasks.
Job Summary
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, motivated and dependable water damage restoration technician to join our team. This role involves responding to emergency water damage situations, setting up drying equipment, performing demolition, and documenting the restoration process. Ideal candidates will be hard working, detail oriented, and capable of working in challenging environments. Duties
•Respond promptly to scheduled appointments
•Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc)
•Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials.
•Clean and sanitize affected areas.
•Document the restoration process using software or mobile apps.
•Communicate with customers and project managers effectively
•Maintain equipment and vehicles in good working condition
•Follow safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements:
•High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
•Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting up to 50 lbs)
•Strong attention to detail and reliability
•Excellent communication and customer service skills
•Willingness to work overtime (including weekends and holidays)
•Previous experience in water damage restoration
Preferred Qualifications:
•IICRC certification (Water Damage Restoration Technician – WRT). IICRC certification is preferred, but not required.
•Familiarity with moisture meters and monitoring active jobs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
