Wastewater /Water Treatment Operator – Southwest Ontario (Leamington Area)

As a Wastewater Operator with StreamGo, you will be a valuable player on our team, ensuring our operations and maintenance ground game is the best in the business.

You are a team player, looking to advance your water treatment career. You will be responsible for the successful operation and maintenance of the wastewater and drinking water systems we operate ensuring that our operations comply with all applicable legislation, regulations, approvals, orders and guidelines. You will also help out on commissioning our advanced wastewater and water treatment plants from time to time. You have a solid knowledge of wastewater and drinking water operations and process control, are computer proficient, have demonstrated problem solving skills, are not afraid of hand tools and getting your hands dirty on occasion and, have effective communication skills.

Requirements:

- Level 2 Wastewater Treatment (IDEAL)

- OIT Wastewater Treatment /Collection (Minimum Requirement)

- Limited Surface/Subsurface Drinking Water System Certification - Or able to obtain upon hire

- Great interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).

- Understanding of the latest technologies in the water and wastewater field.

- Basic knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations (for example, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Drinking Water Standards, Drinking Water Protection Regulations, Safe Drinking Water Act, Spills Act, etc.).

- Mechanical aptitude and abilities.

- a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license.

- Valid Canadian Passport and ability to travel to USA
