Warehouse Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker and Packer to join our shipping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment to customers. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pick items from inventory according to order sheets or scanning systems

- Carefully pack products using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping

- Label packages accurately and clearly for proper delivery

- Prepare orders for shipment, including weighing and sealing packages

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing

- Work with team members and supervisors to ensure daily shipping goals are met

- Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping, or packing role is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

- Basic math and reading skills

- Familiarity with shipping software or scanners is an advantage

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Work Environment:

- Warehouse setting

- May involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
