Job Summary

The Warehouse Operations Specialist supports daily warehouse activities and assists in implementing standardized processes and technology solutions. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in supply chain and warehouse operations, with opportunities to learn best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

TRAVEL - 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

- Assists in documenting and following standardized warehouse processes.

- Supports training efforts for warehouse team members by helping prepare materials and coordinate sessions.

- Collaborates with regional teams to gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities.

- Helps implement warehouse optimization strategies, including inventory controls and workflow improvements.

- Participates in technology rollouts and provide feedback on usability and effectiveness.

- Uses basic data tools to support slotting strategies and warehouse layout planning.

- Contributes to improving the warehouse employee experience through feedback and support.

- Assists in collecting and maintaining accurate warehouse data, including product and bin location information.

- Travels frequently to branch locations to support project implementation and training.

Non-essential Functions

- Attends internal training sessions and industry webinars to learn about warehouse trends.

- Supports other warehouse-related projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

- Associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.

- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

- 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
