Warehouse/Mobile Inventory Driver

DK-Lok Canada is looking to expand our sales team in Edmonton with a warehouse/mobile inventory driver.

DK-Lok Canada will be adding mobile inventory management to our Edmonton location shortly. This position will drive 1-2 days a week, with remaining days in the warehouse. Driving days may increase over time as the customer interest evolves. Driving locations include the Edmonton area, Edson, Whitecourt, with others to come. (All in Alberta)

Primary Scope

Reporting to the Branch Manager, Manage shipping/receiving functions.

Main Duties

a) Load and unload trucks

b) Organize all shipping/receiving areas

c) Organize and schedule all outgoing shipments

d) Organize all stock transfers including incoming, outgoing and internal material transfers

e) Re-route applicable incoming materials to appropriate groups and/or shops

f) Maintain traceability records for all incoming product

g) Communicate with appropriate internal personnel regarding customer tracking numbers

h) Update internal database

I) Drive to customer location, stocking items and counting inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Strong organizational skills

Ability to effectively manage time and carry out multiple tasks within a set time period

Detail oriented

Solid verbal and written English communication skills

Forklift operation skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Clean Alberta Drivers License

Comfortable with highway, and less traveled roads

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of grade 12

Familiar with the DK-LOK products

Experience with shipping, receiving and logistics

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position involves:

Shop work and occasionally work outside

Physical manipulation of parts weighing in excess of 50 lbs

Considerable amount of bending, stooping, reaching, turning and twisting

Long periods of standing

Must be physically agile to move in and about equipment
