Warehouse Helper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse distribution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment safely.

Duties

- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials.

- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.

- Perform picking & packing tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

- Assist in shipping & receiving operations, ensuring timely dispatch of products.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.

- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

- Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required by the job demands.

- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and equipment operation skills.

Requirements

- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a focus on inventory management and distribution.

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAGE is advantageous.

- Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers.

- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.

- Knowledge of packaging standards and procedures for safe product handling.

- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking and stocking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
