Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including inventory control and the safe transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various warehouse equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
•
Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
•
Utilize cherry pickers and order pickers for efficient retrieval of products within the warehouse.
•
Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
•
Assist in inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
•
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
•
Perform routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Follow all company policies regarding the handling of materials and equipment.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of inventory control processes.
•
Familiarity with RF scanners, cherry pickers, order pickers, and other warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
•
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively.
•
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
•
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
•
Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
•
A valid driver's license is required for driving duties associated with this position.
