Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations while also performing delivery tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Experience with forklifts and commercial driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

•

Efficiently conduct warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.

•

Load and unload products by hand or forklift.

•

Verify and inspect product for accuracy and damage.

•

Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately.

•

Communicate with team members and customers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.

•

Complete thorough and effective pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the truck.

•

Strap and secure product on the bed of the truck and remove straps from loads.

•

Perform commercial driving duties to transport goods to various locations as required.

•

Adhere to all customers, suppliers, and Comco’s safety policies and procedures.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse.

•

Assist with moving heavy items as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

•

On-Call / OT hours, as required.

Qualifications

•

Work Experience: 2-3 years related warehouse experience an asset;

•

Product Knowledge: fittings, flanges, valves, and/or pipe an asset;

•

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract;

•

Forklift Experience: 1-2 years’ experience, preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.

•

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.

•

Excellent customer service skills with a focus on meeting client needs.

•

Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift.

•

Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
